Drawlloween & Inktober 2015 Day 11 – Raven
I love Ravens and I thought a girl resting in a raven’s nest who was part raven herself would be perfect for the day’s prompt. She was my first watercolor on arches 140lb hot press so I wasn’t used to the rougher surface but the results were amazing. I also experiments with the technique of not inking my line art first. So she was done directly on top of the pencil. Most of this is actually an ink wash with light touches of watercolor.
