ATCitupwithfriends: January 2024 – Open Theme – Whatever you make!

Timeline and General info:

MAIL TO Host by: Mail by February 20 (If this date has passed and you’d like to participate you are always welcome to message me to check if I have swapped or if there is still time to mail in cards.)

Requirements: As always our normal standards apply of original mailing THREE cards (four if sending a host gift card) They must be 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards in your best efforts. I swap cards around based on composition, detail, and final execution. Empty backgrounds or people/objects with solid color for background, or head only cards are discouraged, please try for more. This community is made fabulous by everyone trying their best and being supportive and encouraging of each other’s growth.

January’s THEME:

Open Theme

That is right – whatever you make this month or whatever card you made last year and you have laying around finished send it in! This is a no pressure month! We started a “ATC a day Challenge” over on our group discord – so this would be a perfect chance for you to mail in those cards you create! Just please be sure that it is still an HONEST EFFORT card. (Though please avoid sending a card just full of scribbles, that sooo would not count LOL, don’t make me come after you with my beat stick.)

These monthly themes are intended as a CHALLENGE as well as a way to trade fabulous original art and bond our little art community. Please rise to the challenge and treat your fellow artists with respect by putting in your best efforts. If you are unwilling to put forth true effort then please do not apply to join!
