March’s THEME: People with Feathered Wings MAIL TO Host by: As long as I receive it before I start swapping I will accept the cards. Requirements: As always our normal standards apply of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards in your best efforts. Read this Guidelines page! and follow them or risk your cards not being swapped my lovelies! THEME REQUIREMENTS: This month EVERY card must have a humanoid character with FEATHERED wings. Remember, empty backgrounds or people/objects with solid color for background is discouraged, honest efforts please everyone. What exactly do I mean by humanoid? The character must have a human face/head the rest of the body you can do human as well if you want but it could be a mashup of creatures as long as it has that human head and feathered wings. You know what that means, NO fairy wings/butterfly wings / kite wings / dragon/bat wings etc, they must be feathered like a birds. To further challenge you I hope you’ll try to make at least one of your cards a male character. That part isn’t a requirement just a little extra challenge should you choose to accept it. *wink wink nudge nudge* There are all kinds of species of humanoid or creatures that are combinations of human upper body and animal lower body so you can mix it up if you want, or you can go for a full human body have fun with it! This is a theme that now takes place yearly as a 2nd theme during March. I suggest doing the monthly main challenge theme and if you love robots then of course participate in this one. If the main theme doesn’t appeal to you then you are welcome to just do the robots theme if you’d prefer. Be sure if you are doing both that you send postage and address label for both sets. I recommend not mailing them in the same envelope as it is more likely to get lost of damaged with that many cards in one envelope. I do NOT mail back double sets in one envelope. These monthly themes are intended as a CHALLENGE as well as a way to trade fabulous original art and bond our little art community.
