November’s THEME:

Special Delivery

MAIL TO Host by:   (Extended for the holidays to Mail by end of February) December  1 – 7th (always mail during the first week of the following month unless there is an extension.)

Knock Knock! Special Delivery!! As November is the beginning of the busiest time of the year for POSTAL DELIVERIES we are celebrating that this year by making it our theme. Because everyone loves receiving mail (when it isn’t from a bill collector or solicitation haha) That means your card must be a “special delivery” or “postal” type of theme.

Now I know many of you might immediately think “I’m going to draw a mailbox” – now come on people don’t take the easy rode, challenge yourself! You want everyone to drool over and covet your card like they are dying of hunger and your card is the only thing that can keep their artmail love alive!! So you take that idea and get CREATIVE with it, maybe its not just a mailbox, maybe its a flying intergalactic mail box that flings mail across the milkyway. Or what exactly else could a “special delivery” be? I’m curious what you come up with. But if you need help perhaps you might like any of the zany ideas below.

• A downtrodden mail clerk sitting in the basement sorting mail into tubes? Maybe they are robotic with lots of arms or tentacles!
• Mail carrier delivering a living package…or with holes with something living inside ooooo
• An elegant long lost love letter! *cries*
• Eccentric house with mailboxes all over it!?
• Someone buried under a mountain of mail?
• The Dead Letter office *what if it were fantasy or sci-fi*
• Personally delivered package to the one you love….awww so shy
• Maybe someone decided to mail themselves to save on travel costs
• A set of postal stamp themed cards!?
• a postal timecapsule!? I’ve no idea how this would work
• Other postal themed type things: mail carriers, mail boxes, packages, love letters, stamps, an old letter, mail by land/air/sea, creature mail carriers, mail vehicles of any kind real, fantasy or sci-fi!
