November’s THEME:

Character Design

MAIL TO Host by:   December  7th (In 2020 we are operating on a delay of mailing return envelopes back. Please still try to mail in on time to avoid getting behind but there are extensions in place and I will accept all late cards up until I start swapping that month. Currently Feb -March is being swapped. As I know many this year are having troubles with art funk and mail delays are hitting us worldwide I hope this will help.)

Requirements: As always our normal standards apply of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards in your best efforts.  Read this Guidelines page!  and follow them or risk your cards not being swapped my lovelies!

THEME REQUIREMENTS: This month EVERY card must have a NEW character you design from a different ‘class’ and ‘aesthetic’. Yes, when I say new that means I create new characters instead of using characters you’ve already previously created! Your card can have more then one character on it if you want (if you plan to do a story type set but it does still need to have at least 1 NEW character on every card) Please refer to the 3 lists provided for examples of classes, aesthetics/styles and an optional prompt. Please put on the back of each card the class, aesthetic and prompts you used. Yes you can create your own classes/styles/prompts just be sure to list them on the back.

The themed challenge this month is actually intended to be fun and get your creative character design skills going. You can design any kind of characters you want as long as each card contains a character from a different “class” type and they must have a different “aesthetic” style. The third list is just a fun prompt you can choose to incorporate one or not. If you don’t see the type of character class or aesthetic on any of the lists yes you can add your own.

Characters can be any species you want! They do not have to be humanoid but they should be recognizable as having a distinctive class and aesthetic style! Have fun and make some wonderful
