October’s THEME:

Spooktacular

MAIL TO Host by:   November  1 – 7th (In 2020 we are operating on a delay of mailing return envelopes back. Please still try to mail in on time to avoid getting behind but there are extensions in place and I will accept all late cards up until I start swapping that month. Currently Jan-March is being swapped. As I know many this year are having troubles with art funk and mail delays are hitting us worldwide I hope this will help.)

Requirements: As always our normal standards apply of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards in your best efforts.  Read this Guidelines page!  and follow them or risk your cards not being swapped my lovelies!

THEME REQUIREMENTS: This month EVERY card must have a character and be anything spooky, horror, gothic, creepy, halloween etc.

Do you love horror and gothic everything!? Or is creepy cute more your thing? Spooky, eebie jeebies, creepy crawlies, deadly beauty, aesthetic blood perhaps? Well then this is the month for you! Let loose the demon dogs and all things wicked, dark and dangerous! Anything Spooky goes, usually that means horror, gothic and downright creepy but if you like creepy cute then by all means do that! If your spooky is a beautiful vampire enchantress, or a seductive Dracula then chill me to the chore with that beauty. This is your interpretation of spooky!

BRING ON THE THIRD YEAR OF SPOOKTACULAR! This is not specifically a Halloween theme so you don’t have to make it look “halloweeny” but a spooky theme in October helps make things easier for all of the folks who are also doing any of the October art challenges around the web so make it easier for you to still be able to participate in #ATCitupwithfriends as well. This is always our most popular themed month.

Please rise to the challenge and treat your fellow artists with respect by putting in your best efforts. If you are unwilling to put forth true effort then please do not apply to join!
