ATCitupwithfriends: October 2021 – Spooky

Timeline and General info:

MAIL TO Host anytime: preferably by November 7th (however as of this blog post mail in dates are still flexible while Pabkins catches up on swapping and mailing back the March – August swap themes) But as long as I receive it before I start swapping I will accept the cards. We are still operating on swapping delay caused by the 2020 COVID madness – so check the discord for all themes swapping status or message me directly on Instagram to find out what themes are still open to accept cards.

Requirements: As always our normal standards apply of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards in your best efforts. I swap cards around based on composition, detail, and final execution. Empty backgrounds or people/objects with solid color for background, or head only cards are discouraged, please try for more. This community is made fabulous by everyone trying their best, being supportive and encouraging of each other’s growth. October’s THEME:

Spooky

THEME REQUIREMENTS: This month EVERY card must have a character and be anything spooky, horror, gothic, creepy, halloween etc.

Do you love horror and gothic everything!? Or is creepy cute more your thing? Spooky, eebie jeebies, creepy crawlies, spine chilling, deadly yet elegant beauty perhaps? Well then this is the month for you! Let loose the demon dogs and all things wicked, dark and dangerous! Anything Spooky goes, usually that means horror, gothic and downright creepy but if you like creepy cute then by all means do that! If your spooky is a beautiful vampire enchantress, or a seductive Dracula then chill me to the chore with that beauty. This is your interpretation of spooky!

This is not specifically a Halloween theme so you don’t have to make it look “halloweeny” but of course Halloween art is welcome as well. The reason the theme says “spooky” is because many of us also do other October art challenges around the web and the broad spooky theme makes it easier for you to still participate in #ATCitupwithfriends as well. This is always our most popular themed month.

These monthly themes are intended as a CHALLENGE as well as a way to trade fabulous original art and bond our little art community. Please rise to the challenge and treat your fellow artists with respect by putting in your best efforts. If you are unwilling to put forth true effort then please do not apply to participate!
