March’s THEME:

Bounty Hunters

MAIL TO Host by:   April 1 – 7th (I ask you try to always mail by the first few days of the new month unless there is an extension.)

Have you always secretly wanted to be a Bounty Hunter? No? Ok maybe that’s just me. I loved old westerns and even more so sci-fi bounty hunters. Those gunslinging, bandit catching, villain chasing power houses! Heck sometimes the bounty isn’t even a bad guy. But we don’t care about them right now do we? I want to see your creative character designs for some Bounty Hunters. It doesn’t matter if they are western, sci-fi, fantasy just as long as you are representing the theme. So if you want to draw an elf toting some gun made out of wood that shoots mini arrow bullets hey more power to you. If you need help and feedback please message me or absolutely jump on the discord Work in Progress channel to get some feedback from the group!

Requirements: As always our normal standards of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards apply.  Read this Guidelines page!  and follow them or risk your cards not being swapped my lovelies!

Need some prompts, Ideas – HELP?? You know I always got you! Plus you can always message me directly or pop into our group discord chat server for some ideas from the group! Here are just a few ideas from me. This one is going to be a challenge because really in what way or how can you show they are a bounty hunter? Typically they are carrying some guns, usually they have something with them to tie up/shackle/detain their captive.

• The traditional western gunslinger, maybe he’s astride his horse and has some guns hanging all over him!?
• Steampunk western combo. He’s got awesome gadget guns and weapons galore. If he had a ride maybe it’d be a tricked out steam motorcycle
• Sci-fi bounty hunters complete with electric lasso and rayguns! Maybe his bounty is hog tied up and floating behind them?
• Bounty hunter looking at or carrying or studying a reward poster.

2nd March Swap Theme:

Robots

Because every year there is a huge #MARCHOFROBOTS challenge on instagram this month we have a 2nd swap group you can join (if you are already making robots in March why not make them as cards right?) You can join the Bounty Hunters group of you can join Robots, or heck if you have lots of spit and fire in you, join both!

Requirements: Card MUST contain a robot characters (as always no fan art!, must be your original robot!) As always our normal standards of original 2.5 x 3.5 inch original hand drawn/colored/painted cards apply.  Read this Guidelines page!  and follow them or risk your cards not being swapped my lovelies!

A Robot Pinterest Board

– Does your robot have a job? lets see them at work!
– Is your robot made up of unusual scrap parts?
– Perhaps it’s a long forgotten ancient robot among fallen ruins?
– Or rusting in a heap of garbage…
– Or maybe picking thru the junkyard for that special replacement part
– Diskotek dance robot!? ok robot bartender? telemarketer (aren’t they all! robots for real?)
– There are endless things you can do with this theme as we saw in the past 2 years we’ve had this swap theme. So have fun with it!
